Single number wagers in Roulette: This is especially true for American Roulette. The reason? American Roulette has 2 zeroes on the wheel, as opposed to European Roulette, which has just 1. This takes the overall house advantage from 2percent with a single zero wheel to a whopping fivepercent in American. The one number bet has only a one in thirty eight chance of winning, which are very long odds indeed. Try even-odd or black-red bets as a substitute which have a much lower casino edge.
Keno: Any variation of Keno, and regardless of how you play it, the casino edge can be a whopping twenty-five percent. Yes, that wasn’t a error. Due to the huge set of numbers you must choose, it’s not advisable to gamble on Keno to often. A couple of times for fun, maybe. But do not spend all your money on it or you’ll quickly discover yourself beaten.
